ICD-10 goes live for all MD Synergy Clients. We are pleased to announce that all of our clients successfully went live on ICD-10
What is ICD-10?
Effective October 1, 2015, all HIPAA-covered entities in the United States must start using the ICD-10-CM diagnosis code set and ICD-10-PCS procedure code set.
ICD-10-CM (International Classification of Diseases -10th Version-Clinical Modification) is designed for classifying and reporting diseases in all healthcare settings.
ICD-10-PCS (Procedure Classification System) replaces the ICD-9-CM procedure coding system, and will only be required for facility reporting of inpatient services.
