Direct, bi-directional interfaces are live with Quest Diagnostics, Sonora Quest, LabCorp, Exact Sciences, Natera, Primex Clinical Laboratories, United WestLabs, WestPac Labs, Precision Diagnostics, Southwest Labs, HealthQuest Esoterics, and Makomedical for laboratory orders, plus SimonMed Imaging and Arizona Diagnostic Radiology for imaging. New interfaces are added on request, MD Synergy actively expands the partner network as practices need.
Orders are placed electronically from inside the patient chart. Required AOEs (Ask-on-Order Entry questions), ICD-10 diagnosis codes, fasting status, and specimen routing are captured in the same screen, then transmitted directly to the chosen facility, no faxes, no paper requisitions, no separate portal.
Results post automatically to the ordering provider’s inbox and the patient chart as soon as the lab or imaging center releases them. Discrete numerical values are stored as structured data, so trending, flagging abnormals, and graphing across visits all work out of the box.
